first practical transistor radio 1954
I had one of these little jewels when I was 14 years old. It was AM only and it had very low output to the speaker, an earphone worked much better. I put it in my pocket and ran the earphone up my sleeve so to conceal it from the study hall teacher. I listened to WLW radio to heard the world series. ....... Jack
