Its To Big

Q.
I have tried several times to send an MP3 sound file to a friend. Each time it bounces back, Why won't it go threw to him ? Thanks, K.S.

A.
The person that you are sending the MP3 file to is using Net Zero for his Internet Service Provider (ISP). This ISP and many others do not allow files (attachments) larger than one Megabyte to be sent to a mail account. The file you are trying to send is seven Megabytes, If the receiver is using a dial-up ISP such as Net Zero it would take hours for the download. Always consider this when sending large photos or audio files. There is a service at:
http://www.senduit.com/
that will allow up to 100 Meg transfer. You upload the file along with the person's email address. The receiving party can downlod the file to his/her computer. Remember if the receiving party is on a dial-up connection it will still take a lot of their time to receive it. Also some ISP's do not allow MP3s to be received at all. I suggest burning it to CD and mailing it to them.
Hope this helps and thank you for your question ....... Jack
