H.R. 3200
Setting here in my rocking chair (as old people do) I ask myself, Just why do I not want a forced government run health plan (H.R. 3200). I worked hard most of my life to finally retire with a health plan that pays for 80% of my health care if needed. Soon my wife and I will be 65 and we will be receiving medicare. I will have a supplement plan, at a reasonable cost, that will cover the 20% not paid by medicare. This works for me. May be you think it will not work for you, if so, make your reasons known, but please read the bill (all of it) before you support it. Old people like me are the most concerned, but you will be old someday too. Think to the future as I and my wife are. The end of life clauses scare us to a premature death. Think about it ! Don't pull the plug on us.

Posted on Aug 7, 2009 | by Tom Strode WASHINGTON (BP)–The health-care reform bill making its way through the U.S. House of Representatives “is extremely dangerous legislation to the health and wellbeing of most Americans” for a variety of reasons, the Southern Baptist Convention’s ethics entity says.
The proposal — America’s Affordable Health Choices Act, H.R. 3200 — would endanger the lives of the unborn and elderly, increase taxes and health-care costs, and extend government’s reach into Americans’ private lives, according to an analysis by the Ethics & Religious Liberty Commission (ERLC).
