Indiana Ice

At 2 am Wednesday the power went out with a coat of ice that covered trees, roads, wires, and all else. 16,000 people served by REMC and Duke electric were without power. Today (Friday) at 2:30pm power was restored to our home, but many homes are still without service. Many trees and limbs blocked the roads also.

 Luckily the temperatures hovered just below the freeing point. It would have been much worse if it had been much colder.
