Crash and Burn

Its not if its when ! After about six months of very hard use my Lap Top crashed. It was getting pretty slow anyway and needed to be formatted and reloaded. It came with Vista Home and I wanted to try Vista Ultimate anyway. I did a clean install and it went on without a hitch. It took about one hour to load. I would like to have 2 gig to replace the 1 gig I am running now, but RAM is still very expensive, so that will wait. Now comes the hard part of reloading all the files, photos, music, and addresses. I did have 99% backed up but it will take many hours to restore them. This is a wake-up call, "back up the stuff you don't want to loose" as it will happen to you sooner or later.
