Did you know there were atomic weapons ready to be fired at only 10 miles from Versailles. Yes I was only a kid at the time but remember the location very well. Where was it you ask ? Dillsboro, Indiana. I knew there was a NIKE base built there but had no idea the missles were armed with atomic (nuclear) war heads. The deserted base still remains but the missiles are gone.
